la LIG: Matches of improvisation

A cultural activity in Lausanne not to be missed!

Monday in the sun is something we'll never have, except at 7:30 pm at the Galicia. To start the week well, Apolline suggests a cultural activity not to be missed: the improv games of the LIG

What is the LIG?

The LIG, the Galician Improvisation League, is a non-profit association that brings together about thirty enthusiasts. Grouped in four teams, two of them compete alternately every Monday on the outdoor stage of the Galicia in a friendly and especially extremely funny atmosphere. Indeed, the concept has seduced the young audience of Lausanne, which responds by the hundreds to each performance. Accompanied by an MC on fire, the audience has the difficult task of deciding between the two teams by voting by a show of hands for the team it prefers, for each round. The referee, dressed in his traditional black and white striped jacket, imposes the themes on the teams and whistles for any fouls. Finally, a sound engineer/DJ adds to the atmosphere with dancing music and accompanies the actors with subtle musical interventions to underline their intentions. Laughter guaranteed!
