Anatole

Based in Lausanne, Anatole Palichleb is a multifaceted drummer, composer, and drum teacher. After beginning his musical training in various conservatories, he chose to specialize in jazz, Computer Music (MAO), and creation at the CRR 93 in Aubervilliers. He then continued his studies at the Haute École de Musique (HEMU) in Lausanne, where he earned a Bachelor's and subsequently a Master's degree in Jazz. His rich academic background is also crowned by a DEM (Diploma of Musical Studies) in Computer Music as well as a diploma in musical acoustics. Alongside his teaching, he leads a highly active career as a musician in diverse projects such as Paillette 121, ANIMA, Professeur Pesto, and Atonal’, while also developing specialized work in composition, recording, and music production.

While mastering the drums requires undeniable rigor, Anatole's journey has above all taught him that music is first and foremost a vast playground for exploration. By navigating for years between acoustic percussion, the demands of jazz, and electronic music, he has forged a boundary-free vision of his art. Today, as an accomplished drummer and producer, it is exactly this wealth of horizons and thirst for discovery that he strives to pass on to his own students every day.

Drawing on teaching experience that began in 2017, taking him from private lessons to the classrooms of the Annemasse Agglomération Conservatory, Anatole possesses a natural ability to build connections with musicians of all ages. He approaches pedagogy with a caring attitude: deep listening, passionate transmission, and a dedication to adapting to each individual's level. Whether the desire of the moment is to acquire the technical basics of the instrument, work on coordination, discover jazz improvisation, or groove to contemporary music, he tailors his lessons accordingly. In class, he strikes the perfect balance: enabling the student to develop an infallible sense of rhythm, while leaving them the necessary room to fully express their own musical identity.
