Swiss Voice Tour 2023

A musical contest that can make a difference.

The swiss voice tour in two words...

The Swiss Voice Tour is an annual singing competition organized in Switzerland since 2014. Initially reserved for children under 16, it has evolved in 2019 to include an adult category. The selection process for participants takes place between February and August each year, through castings organized throughout Switzerland. The candidates perform in front of a jury composed of professionals from the music industry. Please note that several criteria are examined by this experienced jury, such as stage presence, originality and personality. Think about it before you take to the stage!
The selected singers are then invited to participate in the grand finale, which takes place in the fall. During this evening, they perform in front of a prestigious audience and jury, made up of personalities from the French and international music scene. The winners of each category (adults and children) have the chance to record a single in professional studios.the Swiss Voice Tour is a great way for budding singers to showcase their talent and have a chance to break into the Swiss music industry. In addition to the opportunity to record a single, participants can benefit from extensive media exposure and valuable advice from industry professionals.

Last year's final

The final of season 7 of the Swiss Voice Tour took place in an electric atmosphere at the Auditorium Stravinski, in front of a full house and three local TV stations. The nine finalists were judged by a prestigious jury composed of Christophe Willem, Claudio Capéo, Slimane and Vitaa, who appreciated the show put on by the overexcited candidates. The show was on!

The big winners of the evening were Umberto and Daniel, who won their respective categories. Umberto dazzled the audience and the jury by singing "Aria Sole Terra Mare" by Linda. Even if this song is not one of the most popular in the French speaking part of Switzerland, Umberto was able to seduce the hearts of our 4 fantastic (juries) with his well controlled funky Italian style.   As for Daniel, he dazzled the audience and the judges with his interpretation of "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi, showing an impressive stage and vocal maturity for his 16 years old. The icing on the cake, he received a standing ovation from the jury totally conquered.
Thanks to their victory, Umberto and Daniel will have the chance to record a song composed especially for them in the iconic Abbey Road studios in London. The chance! Registrations for season 8 of the Swiss Voice Tour will be open from December on the contest website.

Apolline and the swiss voice tour

This year, our student Emma shines in the competition. She was able to make herself noticed with an interpretation of the title "I'd rather go blind" of Etta James during the qualifying phase of the shopping malls. She has a revenge to take since the quid pro quo of last year. As a reminder, here's what happened last year: While her performance had dazzled the jury in the qualification phase, Emma went home confident. The jurors had to call the candidates selected for the semi-final until Saturday morning, the last deadline. To her surprise, Emma did not hear her phone ring. A little disappointed, she decided to go to Crissier to attend the semi-final as a spectator. A production manager approached her and asked her where she was and that she had been selected. To her shock, Emma asked if she could still sing. Unfortunately, due to a tight schedule, the production manager refused.

This year, Emma made it to the semi-finals. After a very good performance, she was narrowly missing out on the grand finale in Montreux. Determined to reach the finals at all costs, she wants to try her luck again in other centers to achieve her dream. On behalf of Apolline Arts School, we support her relentlessly, we are proud of the path she has taken and of the excellent coaching she has received from our talented singing teacher: Sandrina.

Apolline offers singing lessons in Lausanne as well as guitar lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons to help you perfect your musical skills.
