Exclusive concert by our students in Lausanne!

See you on Monday, June 19 at 7pm at Taco's Bar in Lausanne!

Our workshop students live!

For the second year running, our workshop students will be performing live at an exclusive concert, a great opportunity to discover the culmination of a year's work. The concert will take place on Monday June 19 at Taco's Bar in Le Flon, starting at 6.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Apolline's workshops in a nutshell

Playing in a group! That's what we're aiming for when we take up an instrument. At Apolline, we're convinced of the need to get our students playing together as soon as possible. Our guitar, vocals, bass, drums and piano students meet weekly to play a repertoire of rock, pop and indie music, tailor-made by our teacher Arnaud. Even if the songs played are largely covers, our teacher introduces the young talents to composition and songwriting, a new process that results in original songs created with passion and freshness.
Last year, Apolline's workshop group even recorded a track at the "Under oak studio" in Gland. The school had given its students the opportunity to record a track in the studio, an exercise they had passed with flying colors. The challenge was considerable. In addition to being filmed during their performance and between takes for an aftermovie, the young musicians had given their all to finalize months of work and preparation. They had recorded an original composition written by the group's singer Nina and arranged by their teacher Arnaud. You can see the results of this adventure by clicking on this link:

As you can see, we're keen to get our students playing together as quickly as possible; 1 to 2 years' individual experience is enough. For every student, playing in a group is a way of giving concrete expression to the work done in instrument lessons. It's a source of pleasure and an essential motivation for progress.

Concert program

The concert begins with a performance by the first workshop, made up of students aged 10 to 14. Quite simply, the next generation! With Nina on vocals, Noah on piano, Matt on guitar and Helios on drums, this young group explores rock classics such as AC/DC and Arctic Monkeys, as well as the soulful hip hop grooves of singer Arlo Parks. The icing on the cake: the band has prepared an original composition for the occasion. At the end of this first concert, you can let yourself be carried away by the voices of Emma, Erina and Tulin, singing students in Sandrina's class. These three young artists will plunge you into the intimacy of piano voice, accompanied by our talented piano teacher Nicolas. Thrills guaranteed!
To finish on a high note, you'll be treated to a performance by our second group, "Where is Fred". Made up of Malory on vocals, Karen on drums, Julie on piano and Fred on guitar, this group will take you on a journey across the Atlantic, exploring the American rock sounds of John Mayer, Alabama Shakes and Black Pumas.

Apolline offers singing lessons in Lausanne as well as guitar lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons to help you perfect your musical skills.
